Fifteen pounds of dough, 12 pounds of icing, and a 20-foot eavestrough.
That's what went into creating the world's largest long john doughnut at Nestor's Bakery in Saskatoon.
The giant long john complete with colored sprinkles measured 19-feet two-inches long. Aside from its size, staff engineered a unique cooking method. Pails of hot oil were poured over the dough until the doughnut cooked.
